Today is World Suicide Prevention Day.
It’s observed every 10th September, to raise awareness about suicide and to help prevent it.

So everyday 3000 people around the world commit suicide, and for each person that dies, 20 have had an unsucessful suicide attempt.
That means that 60,000 people attempt and commit suicide every day.

That’s shocking!

And especially in NZ, with our youth suicide rates amongst the highest in the world, it’s something that we need to bring down.
