stupid person of the day

Marriage is a traditional right involving a man and a woman. End of story. If you want to change this tradition then where do you draw the line? Do we now have to include an english speaking component in traditional maori customs??? Perhaps we know need to have the haka done in english as well as te reo???? Also would gay marriage apply to Hindu or other ethnic groups marriage rites??? Where do you draw the line and if you do draw a line then isn’t that discriminatory?

From a comment on http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/7518904/Marriage-equality-stories-Hannah-and-Toni .

I’m not even going to go into the myriad wonderful misunderstandings in that one comment.
